Stefan formed Karol Marketing in 1992 and his background includes areas such as public relations and communications audits, strategic marketing programmes, sales promotions, direct mail, advertising, brochure and corporate graphic design.

Stefan is recognised as a leading individual in his field and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. In addition to his day-to-day work, Stefan’s impressive career has seen him head up the CIM’s regional committee, lead Newcastle City Council’s Local Strategic Partnership for a Prosperous Newcastle and appear in PR Week’s annual Power Book celebrating the UK’s most influential people in PR for five years running.

With a 25-year background in PR and marketing Stefan has worked with some of the country’s most prestigious brands, driving forward award-winning campaigns that make a real difference to the bottom line time and time again.

Emily Pickles Emily Conrad-Pickles – Account Director     
Emily has extensive agency and in-house PR experience within consumer and financial sectors having worked for companies such as John Lewis and the Association of Investment Companies. Emily joins Karol Marketing from London where she brings with her an excellent record of managing successful PR campaigns, experience of crisis communications and has worked with a wide range of national media.

Emily is currently working on a range of accounts including Newcastle University Business School, Vango, Karrimor and Vaude.

Support Team
The directors are supported by an extensive team of experienced account managers, executives and administrative support, ensuring the programmes are on track, on time and on budget.

The allocation of the appropriate team also ensures that there is always someone working on the programme, driving it forward and available on an ongoing basis.
