  • Junior / Account Executive

    We are recruiting for a Junior / Account Executive to join our team in a supportive role across B2B and B2C accounts.

    We are looking for candidates to assist the team in the day to day running of PR accounts across some leading business and consumer brands.  The role will encompass working on creative PR campaigns, issuing press releases, product placement, event organising, tracking and circulating press cuttings.

    RESPONSIBLE TO: Account Manager

    CLIENT RESPONSIBLITIES:

    1) To assist in the execution of the agreed programmes for specific client’s, as directed by the Account Manager. At the discretion of the Account Manager, this could include:

    a) build relationships with target media
    b) develop press lists and forward features
    c) research and write press releases, feature articles and photo captions
    d) liaise with the media, “sell-in” stories
    e) plan and organise press briefings, conferences or similar events
    f) answer media enquiries
    g) maintain first class administration of Client activities including Action Reports, Contact Reports and Status Reports
    h) help prepare proposals for new programmes
    i) attend product familiarity briefings
    j) product placements/gear orders

    2) To attend internal and external client meetings and become familiar with the clients’ business, markets and competitors

    3) To liaise with existing suppliers (including media) and identify any new suppliers as necessary.

    4) Provide an alternative point of contact for both client contacts and suppliers.

    5) Assist the Account Manager’s to follow the operating practice guidelines detailed in the Account Handler’s Guide.

    COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1) To ensure that everything you do supports and assists the efforts of your colleagues and ultimately Karol Marketing. To create a harmonious, friendly and co-operative working environment.

  • Account Manager / Account Director

    We are recruiting for an Account Manager / Account Director to join our team and to head up a number of B2B accounts.

    The role will encompass leading creative pitches, preparing and issuing press releases, running PR campaigns, directing photography, product placement, event management, tracking and managing account performance.

    Ideally candidates will have a creative flair with a keen interest in copywriting and campaign management.

    RESPONSIBLE TO: Account Director and Managing Director.

    CLIENT RESPONSIBLITIES:

    1) To be responsible for managing and running client accounts to the satisfaction of those clients.

    2) To develop and successfully execute agreed programmes for specific clients.

    3) To monitor a client’s expenditure within agreed fee/budget levels, ensure correct invoicing.

    4) To establish and maintain a level of understanding of the client’s business, programmes, contacts and key suppliers (including media).

    5) To ensure client contacts are familiar with Karol Marketing’s activities and to maintain client security.

    6) To endeavour to grow the account of each client by developing proposals for new PR or marketing programmes.

    7) Follow the operating practice guidelines as detailed in the Account Handler’s Guide.

    8) To fulfill any Client commitments to the very best of you and your team’s ability whilst managing your time effectively.

    MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1) To identify any new business opportunities, assist with the preparation of a credentials presentation and with the presentation of proposals.

    2) To work to the best of your and the company’s ability to reach your financial targets as agreed between you and the Directors of Karol Marketing.

    3) To instill in all staff a healthy work ethic backed-up by a conscientious approach to work.
